Arborescence stands in solidarity with the Bromont community
Everyone at Arborescence, including our local contractors, is deeply concerned by the current crisis. We’d like to express our solidarity with everyone who has been directly or indirectly affected by COVID-19.
While the situation presents challenges for all of us, it’s particularly serious for the most vulnerable members of our community. In order to help, the teams working on Arborescence – Gestion Terrart Inc., Excavation St-Pierre & Tremblay, Groupe Barsalou-Meunier and Mario Ménard – made a $20,000 donation to Centre Marguerite-Dubois last Saturday. This contribution will help the local non-profit meet the demand for emergency food donations, which have nearly doubled since the beginning of the crisis.
Centre Marguerite-Dubois has been serving the community for nearly 25 years and distributes more than 25,000 kilograms of food annually to local citizens in need. It also runs a second-hand store and community kitchen, though both are currently closed. We hope this support will enable the organization to continue meeting community needs.
If your financial situation permits, we urge you to give to Centre Marguerite-Dubois or a charity operating in your area. Let’s continue to stand together, even while maintaining a physical distance.
Take care of yourself, your family and your community.
